What 30+ Years with Leaders Taught Me About Performance
For more than three decades,
I’ve worked with business leaders to improve strategy, execution, and growth.
I’ve seen strong plans fail.
I’ve seen capable leaders struggle.
I’ve seen organizations repeat the same problems—despite knowing better.
What I came to understand is this:
The issue isn’t strategy alone.
It’s the patterns driving how leaders and teams think, feel, and act under pressure.

Doug began his career in broadcasting-progressing from announcer to sales, sales management, general manager, and ultimately part-owner of WOFM-FM in Wausau, Wisconsin.
What ultimately shaped this work isn’t credentials – it’s understanding how leaders and teams actually perform under pressure.

As a Certified Neuro Change Solutions Coach, I work with leaders to:

This isn’t motivational.

Where This Became Real
In 2012, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
I was given less than a 3% chance of survival.
This changed how I thought about everything.
But it wasn’t enough.
I had to change something deeper.
How I was thinking.
How I was feeling.
How I was responding to what was happening.
Because under pressure, patterns take over.
And if those patterns don’t change, neither do the out-
comes.
When I entered the hospital, I read Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza and began applying the principles.
It changed everything.
Through that process — discipline, belief, and faith — experienced what real change looks like.
Not just how I approached my health —
but how I understand leadership, performance, and last- ing transformation.
Today, I bring those same principles into organizations – helping leaders break the patterns that limit perfor- mance and create results that stick.

I value time with my family-my three sons, Dan, Josh, and
Noah-and my granddaughters, Sophie and Aurelia.
I enjoy great conversations, good meals, sports, and music.
But what drives me most is this:
Watching people realize they’re not stuck.
That the patterns they’ve been repeating-personally or professionally-can actually change.
And when they do…
Everything else follows.

to become someone new.
